Mild weather continues, but cold front to move in Friday

Mild weather continues today, with a high near 75, according to the National Weather service.

A strong cold front will move through the area early Friday, with scattered non-severe storms possible, the weather service said.

No other hazardous weather is expected.

Today, skies will be sunny, and there will be a south southeast wind of 6 to 13 mph, gusting as high as 21 mph, the weather service said.

Tonight, expect a low of 60 with a south wind of 10 to 15 mph, gusting as high as 29 mph, according to the weather service.

Thursday, expect mostly sunny skies with a high near 76, the weather service said. There will be a south wind of 16 to 23 mph, gusting as high as 38 mph.

Thursday night, there is a 30 percent chance of showers after midnight, the weather service said. The low will be around 47. A south wind of 14 to 17 mph will change to the west after midnight, and winds may gust as high as 34 mph.

Temperatures will drop significantly on Friday, according to the weather service. Friday, the high will be near 49 with partly sunny skies. It will be breezy, with a west northwest wind of 15 to 21 mph, gusting as high as 31 mph.

Friday night, it will be partly cloudy with a low of 29, according to the weather service.

Saturday, the high will be near 46, with sunny skies, the weather service said.

Saturday night, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 26, according to the weather service.

Sunday will be sunny with a high near 52, the weather service said.
