At about 10:30 p.m. Nov. 14, Kansas City, Kan., Police Department officers responded to a shooting near the 600 block of South 71st Street.
A spokesman said police officers found a man in his 20s, shot outside the Terrace Pointe Apartments near South 71st and Kansas Avenue. The victim was confirmed dead by EMS on the scene, the spokesman said.
The identity of the victim is being withheld until there is positive identification and family notification, the spokesman said.
