An injury crash was reported at 3:27 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, on I-635 at Parallel Parkway, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.
A Ford passenger car and a Chevy van were southbound on I-635, according to the trooper’s report.
The Chevy van made a lane change in front of the Ford car, the report stated. The driver of the Ford car then lost control and struck the inside barrier wall, according to the trooper’s report. The two vehicles did not make contact with each other.
The driver of the Ford car, a 63-year-old Kansas City, Kan., man, was injured and taken to a hospital, the report stated. He was not wearing a safety restraint, according to the report.
The driver of the Chevy van, a 37-year-old Kansas City, Kan., man, was not injured, according to the report.
