After morning’s showers, forecast for rest of Wednesday will be mostly sunny

Scattered showers and isolated storms moved across much of the area this morning.

The showers should have cleared by 9 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.

Then the weather will gradually become mostly sunny on Wednesday, with a high near 71, the weather service said. There will be a south southwest wind of 7 to 11 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon.

A return to quiet conditions is expected through the weekend, according to the weather service.

Tonight, expect mostly clear skies, with a low around 48, the weather service said. A north wind will be from 3 to 7 mph.

Thursday, it will be sunny with a high near 72, according to the weather service. A calm wind will become south around 6 mph in the afternoon.

Thursday night, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 56, the weather service said, and a south wind of 5 to 7 mph.

Friday, it will be mostly sunny with a high of 80, the weather service said. There will be a south southwest wind of 7 to 15 mph, gusting to 26 mph.

Friday night, it will be partly cloudy with a low of 62, the weather service said.

Saturday, there will be mostly sunny skies with a high of 77, according to the weather service.
