Man facing murder charge turns himself in

A man is in custody today in the Wyandotte County Jail in connection with the Sept. 26 death of Clarence Buford.

D’Adrian Jones, who was charged with first-degree murder in the case, turned himself in to police today and is in jail, a police spokesman said.

Buford was found dead from a gunshot wound on Sept. 26 in the parking lot at 4301 State Ave., police said.

Police are seeking a second person, Kavon Jones, who is charged with first-degree murder in connection with the case. Police are asking the public’s help in locating Kavon Jones.

A third person, Marco McIwee, was taken into custody and booked on Sept. 27 for first-degree murder in this case, police said.
