The Kansas City, Kan., Public Schools are sponsoring community forums at Kansas City, Kan., Public Library branches to discuss the new proposed no-tax increase bond referendum, which will be on the Nov. 8 ballot.
The remaining forum is at 6 p.m. tonight, Oct. 20, at the Main Library, 625 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, Kan.
This bond referendum will allow the district to make improvements to every school, and build four new ones, all with no increase in taxes for community residents, a spokesman said. The public is invited to attend a forum to learn more about the bond issue.
