Police are working the scene of a shooting about 8:30 p.m. Saturday at 748 Washington Blvd. in Kansas City, Kan., according to a police spokesman.
When officers arrived, they found a 17-year-old male in the parking lot with an apparent gunshot wound, the spokesman said.
He was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.
Police are seeking a red four-door vehicle that may have been sitting at gas pumps at the location for several minutes before the shooting, the spokesman said. The vehicle was occupied by at least two persons, the spokesman said.
