Police request public’s assistance in investigating shooting of horse

The Kansas City, Kan., Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a vehicle in connection with the shooting of a horse at 10:50 a.m. Sept. 27 at 9015 Kansas Ave.

Surveillance photos showed a white or silver Kia Soul at the scene of a shooting of a horse on Sept. 27 at 9015 Kansas Ave., a police spokesman said. The horse was shot while it was standing in the pasture, and died from the shooting, according to police.

Detective J. Gunzenhauser is investigating the case and is requesting assistance identifying and locating the vehicle, the spokesman said.

  1. There can’t be that many white or silver Kia Soul’s in the city. I wonder if there were any other security cameras in this area that may have caught this vehicle? What an awful story.
