Kansas City, Kan., police have identified the victim of a homicide at 2:41 p.m. Oct. 3 at 7350 State Ave.
A police spokesman said the victim was identified as Markie T. Murray, 25, a resident of Kansas City, Kan.
Officers responded to a shots fired call on Monday to find Murray outside of his apartment complex, dead from an apparent gunshot wound, the police spokesman said.
Police said there is no suspect information at this time.
The incident is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kan., Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division. Anyone with information was asked to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
