Actor, model, fitness and sports enthusiast Jesse Metcalfe has been named grand marshal for the Hollywood Casino 400 taking place on Sunday, Oct. 16.
Jesse Metcalfe, best known for his award winning performance on ABC’s iconic hit “Desperate Housewives,” is currently starring in Hallmark’s new hit “Chesapeake Shores.” The family drama is currently ranking first in its timeslot each week.
Metcalfe portrays “Trace Riley,” a former country singer with a sordid past who returns to his hometown and rekindles his love with an old flame. Adding to his credits, Metcalfe has written and performed original music for the hit series.
Up next, Metcalfe will be seen in the action-packed film “The Ninth Passenger” from Lionsgate. The film follows a group of college students on a spontaneous midnight sea voyage that turns horrific when they drift to a dark island and are hunted by a mysterious ninth passenger. Additionally, Metcalfe released three independent films this year including Legendary’s “Deadrising: Endgame,” “Destined,” as well as the critically acclaimed film “God’s Not Dead 2.”
Tickets are currently on sale for the Hollywood Casino 400 on Oct. 16, the fifth race in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. The Kansas Lottery 300 NASCAR Xfinity Series race will take center stage on Oct. 15 with their inaugural Chase for the Championship, while the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards championship race will run on Oct. 14.
