A voter registration drive will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 27, in Kansas City, Kan.
It is being held in conjunction with National Voter Registration Day.
The local registration effort is sponsored by the NAACP, Prince Hall Shriners, and Laborers union.
Those who are 18 and older may register to vote. Anyone who has changed his or her last name or has moved should re-register to vote.
The registration drive will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday at these locations:
Ward 2
7th and Quindaro, Ms. R’s Cafe
7th and Nebraska, Willa Gill Center
Ward 3
Hiawatha and Quindaro, Wilson’s Pizza and Grill
18th and Parallel, Snack Pack Phillips 66 Station
Ward 10
28th and State, City Fish – Elite Enterprises Inc.
27th and Quindaro, Jay’s Fish and Chicken
