A 17-year-old Kansas City, Kan., teen was injured when the Kia sport utility vehicle she was driving ran into the back of a Dodge truck this morning.
The crash happened around 11 a.m. Sept. 15 on the I-70 eastbound ramp at I-635 southbound, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.
According to the trooper’s report, the truck came to a stop on the ramp from eastbound I-70 to southbound I-635, yielding for traffic. Then the driver of the Kia struck the rear of the truck, according to the report.
The 17-year-old girl was injured and taken to a hospital, the report stated.
The driver of the Dodge truck, a 90-year-old Kansas City, Kan., man, was not injured, the report stated.
