High winds toppled some trees in Bonner Springs on Friday night.
Tony Warden sent in these photos of trees in his yard that were downed by strong wind gusts.
He said meteorologists reported wind gusts of up to 75 mph in Bonner Springs on Friday night. Some other trees also fell in Bonner Springs, he said.
A tree believed to be over 90-feet tall, estimated at probably 60 years old, fell in his yard and hit another tree.
“I’m just glad it didn’t hit the house,” Warden said.
