Kansas Lottery players may submit their entries by Sept. 15 for a chance to win their choice of a new Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro or Dodge Charger at the Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson.
The Kansas Lottery has announced the names of three finalists drawn in the third Fast Money preliminary drawing. They all became eligible by entering non-winning $10 Fast Money tickets into the drawing. The three finalists announced September 7 are Preston Pannell of Wichita, Kan., Carol Courdin of Springfield, Mo., and James Ingram of Salina, Kan.
These three finalists will join six other finalists from the first two drawings announced June 1 and July 27, and one more finalist to be drawn at the Kansas State Fair Sept. 17, for a total of 10 finalists.
The 10 finalists (or their proxies) will then participate in a grand prize final event to determine which finalist will win their choice of one of three new “muscle” cars, each with an approximate value of $70,000 including taxes. The grand prize final event will be held in the grandstand during intermission of the Outlaw Truck and Tractor Pull at approximately 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 18, at the Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson, Kan.
The fourth and last preliminary drawing Sept. 17 will include only entries received after the Sept. 7 drawing. Mailed entries must be received at Kansas Lottery headquarters in Topeka by the morning mail pickup Sept. 15. Players mailing entries should send their non-winning $10 Fast Money instant scratch tickets to: Fast Money, Kansas Lottery, P.O. Box 5596, Topeka, KS 66605-0596.
Entries may also be deposited at Lottery headquarters in Topeka until 5 p.m. Sept. 15, or at the Kansas Lottery building at the Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson from Sept. 9 through 9 p.m. Sept. 17, 2016.
Here are some of the other activities the Kansas Lottery has going on during the Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson:
• State Fair Ticket: One of the many instant scratch games the Lottery will sell at the Fair is the $1 Blast Call featuring this year’s State Fair theme and artwork. The game offers players a chance to win up to $1,000 instantly, as well as hundreds of thousands of other cash prizes.
• Daily Drawings: Get a chance to win $100 by depositing non-winning $2 instant scratch tickets purchased at the State Fair into a special daily drawing. Five $100 winners will be drawn each day and announced before the nightly games are played.
• Nightly Games: Each evening at approximately 6 p.m., players have a chance to win prizes.
• Spin the Wheel: Another player favorite. With every $20 lottery purchase, players get to spin the wheel and are guaranteed to win a great lottery promotional item.
• Keno and Kansas Hold‘Em: Visitors to the fair may play Keno, or try to beat the virtual high hand playing Kansas Hold‘Em. Both monitor games are played every four minutes.
These activities begin Sept. 9 and continue through Sept. 18. The Kansas Lottery Building is located on Bison Boulevard, one block north of the Cottonwood Food Court, across from the giant slide.
