Driver injured in three-vehicle crash on I-70

A three-vehicle crash resulted in an injury on Tuesday, Sept. 6, at I-70 and K-7, according to the Kansas Turnpike Authority.

A Pontiac G6 and a Ford Expedition were stopped for traffic on I-70 westbound at 8:35 a.m., according to the trooper’s report.

A Honda Civic rear-ended the Pontiac G6, pushing it into the Ford Expedition, according to the trooper’s report.

The driver of the Pontiac G6, a 36-year-old woman from Iola, Kan., was injured and taken to the hospital, the report stated.

The driver of the Civic, a 24-year-old man from Lenexa, Kan., was not injured, the report said.

The driver of the Expedition, a 26-year-old woman from Lansing, Kan., also was not injured, according to the report.
