Kansas Speedway announced today that starting in 2017 the facility will offer free tickets to youth 12 and under to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and NASCAR XFINITY Series races.
The Toyota Tundra 250 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race will run on Friday night, May 12, 2017, while the Kansas Lottery 300 NASCAR XFINITY Series Chase race will run on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017.
“Watching NASCAR races in person is the best way to create new fans,” said Kansas Speedway President Patrick Warren. “This program will make it affordable for families to attend races at Kansas Speedway and maybe even inspire the next Jimmie Johnson or Danica Patrick.”
Kansas Speedway will offer the free youth tickets in sections that currently have youth pricing. Tickets will be available through Kansas Speedway’s ticket office, by calling 866-460-7223 or logging onto www.kansasspeedwayto order. Each person entering Kansas Speedway’s grandstands must have a ticket as all seats are reserved seating. One youth ticket will be offered for each adult ticket purchased.
An announcement for when tickets are available for 2017 will be made at a later date.
Tickets are currently on sale for 2016 by calling 866-460-7223 or logging on to www.kansasspeedway.com for the Hollywood Casino 400, the fifth race in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup on Oct. 16, the Kansas Lottery 300 NASCAR XFINITY Series race on Oct. 15, and the Kansas 100 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards season finale on Oct. 14.
General parking is free at Kansas Speedway and fans can bring in one 14x14x14-inch soft-sided cooler with their favorite food and beverages.
