The driver of a Ford Fusion was eastbound on I-70 near the I-635 exit in Kansas City, Kan., at 11:05 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, when he fell asleep, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.
The driver, a 20-year-old man from Grain Valley, Mo., struck the inside barrier wall, the trooper’s report stated.
He was injured and taken to a hospital, according to the report.
