A hit-and-run crash was reported at 4:55 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, on northbound I-635 just south of I-70, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
A trooper’s crash report stated that two vehicles were northbound on I-635 when a 1997 Nissan passenger car rear-ended a Honda passenger car.
The driver of the Nissan fled on foot from the scene, the trooper’s report stated.
There was no license number for the Nissan, the report stated. It was towed away to the police tow lot.
The driver of the Honda, a 26-year-old man from Kansas City, Mo., was injured and taken to the hospital, the report stated.
