Kansas City, Kan., police have identified a man who was found dead on Aug. 22 near 46th and Leavenworth Road.
A police spokesman said the victim was identified as Joshua Bush, 38, a resident of Kansas City, Mo.
Further investigation has determined that Bush died from a gunshot wound, and the case is now officially a homicide, according to a police spokesman.
City street crews found the body when they were mowing, according to the police spokesman, and the body was about 15 feet off the roadway (46th Street).
