Kansas City, Kan., police are investigating a shooting death in the 200 block of North 8th Street.
Police were called around 4:34 a.m. Sunday, July 17, to the location, according to a police spokesman.
Upon arrival, officers located a male in his 20s, dead in the yard from an apparent gunshot wound, the spokesman said.
The identity of the victim will not be released pending positive identification and family notification, police said.
The Kansas City, Kan., Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division is investigating the case. Police asked anyone with information to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
