A crash near 48th and State Avenue in the early morning hours resulted in a motorcyclist in critical condition, according to a Kansas City, Kan., Police Department spokesman.
A motorcycle eastbound on State Avenue about 2:16 a.m. Friday, July 15, struck a passenger vehicle that was attempting to turn south into the Regency Inn, the spokesman said.
The driver of the motorcycle, a man in his early 20s, was taken to a hospital in critical condition, the spokesman said.
The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
The accident is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kan., Police Department’s Traffic Support Unit-Critical Collision Response Team.
