KCK police looking for suspect vehicle in homicide case

Kansas City, Kan., police today released a photo of a vehicle suspected in a homicide and aggravated assault at 5:10 a.m. June 19 at 18th and Central Avenue.

The vehicle was last seen heading south on 18th Street from Central Avenue, a police spokesman said.

The incident began near 18th and Parallel Parkway as a victim’s vehicle and the suspect vehicle were traveling southbound on 18th, according to the spokesman.

The suspect’s vehicle is believed to be a newer four-door, reddish in color, smaller sport utility vehicle, the spokesman said.

The driver of the suspect vehicle was thought to be about 30 years old. A female was in the suspect vehicle’s front passenger seat.
