Police seek information about vehicle
Kansas City, Kan., police today identified the victim of a homicide in the 1700 block of Central Avenue about 5:14 a.m. Sunday, June 19.
The victim was identified as Ramon A. Minjares-Garcia, a 24-year-old man who was a resident of Camargo, Chihuahua, a police spokesman said.
Police need the public to assist with information about a red, four-door vehicle driven by a male who may have been involved in the incident, a spokesman said.
Police arrived at the shooting scene on Sunday morning and then received reports that a shooting victim had gone to an area hospital. They went to the hospital, where they found the victim and saw a vehicle with several bullet holes in it.
The Kansas City, Kan., Police Major Case Unit asked anyone with information on the red vehicle or the case to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
