A free workshop for people with chronic diseases will start on Wednesday, July 13, at the Keeler Women’s Center, 2220 Central Ave., Kansas City, Kan.
“Take Control of Your Chronic Condition” is a free 2.5-hour workshop held each week for six weeks, and will cover chronic disease self-management and diabetes self-management.
The workshop will be from 2 to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.
Facilitators of the workshop will be Nozella Brown and Lori Wuellner, family and consumer sciences agents from K-State Research and Extension, Wyandotte County.
