A 1928 Studebaker passenger car out for a Sunday drive on northbound I-635 about 11:04 a.m. June 12 swerved to avoid a pothole and hit a guardrail, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.
The crash happened on I-635 northbound, just north of K-5 in Kansas City, Kan.
The driver, a 67-year-old woman from Ottawa, Kan., was injured and taken to a hospital, the report stated.
A passenger, a 66-year-old man from Ottawa, Kan., was not injured, according to the report.
The trooper’s report stated that the vehicle did not have seat belts.
