As of 6 p.m. Thursday, May 26, K-5 in Leavenworth County over 7 Mile Creek was closed to all traffic because of flood waters over the roadway, according to the Kansas Department of Transportation.
The roadway was not expected to reopen until sometime later today. Drivers are asked to use alternate routes. They should not attempt to drive through flooded or high water on roadways.
