The Kansas City, Kan., Fire Department, in conjunction with the International Association of Firefighters (IAFF) Local 64, will be conducting a “Boot Block Campaign” this Memorial Day weekend.
All monies from this event will be donated to Detective Brad Lancaster’s family.
“Detective Lancaster lost his life in the line of duty; as public safety servants, we stand together in supporting the Kansas City, Kan., Police Department and Detective Lancaster’s family,” a Fire Department spokesman stated.

7th and Kansas Avenue
82nd and Parallel
18th and Parallel
Village West Parkway and State
42nd and Strong
123rd and Leavenworth Road
18th and Central
43rd and Rainbow
38th and State
47th and Parallel
5th and Quindaro
55th and Swartz
47th and Shawnee Drive
55th and Leavenworth Road
78th and State
Collections will take place from about 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, May 27th, 28th and 29th.
