First District Unified Government Commissioner Gayle Townsend plans an information session from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 5, at the Neighborhood Resource Center, 4953 State Ave., Kansas City, Kan.
Those attending will hear presentations about the emergency home repair fund program; full- and part-time employment opportunities with Parks and Recreation; new economic development incentive program for small businesses; and new code enforcement reporting program.
