Temperatures to be in 50s today

Temperatures will be cooler than Saturday, but still above average for this week, according to the National Weather Service.

Monday’s high in Wyandotte County is expected to be near 51, the weather service said. An east wind will be from 3 to 6 mph.

A storm system will pass south of the region on Tuesday, which may bring light showers to an area south of Wyandotte County, the weather service said.

The forecast for Wyandotte County calls for a high of 49 on Tuesday, with mostly cloudy skies, according to the weather service. Winds will be from the east northeast at 7 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph.

On Tuesday night, the low will be around 32, and a north wind will be 13 to 10 mph, gusting as high as 28 mph, the weather service said.

Wednesday, the high will be near 44, and a north northwest wind will be from 14 to 20 mph, gusting as high as 28 mph, according to the weather service. Wednesday night’s low will be near 30.

Thursday will be mostly sunny with a high near 42, the weather service said. Thursday night’s low will be 27.

Friday, expect mostly sunny skies and a high near 49, according to the weather service. Friday night’s low will be around 33.

Saturday, it will be sunny with a high near 54, the weather service said.
