A motorcyclist was injured about 4:19 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, on the I-435 northbound ramp to State Avenue, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.
The 1985 BMW motorcycle was on the ramp from I-435 to State Avenue when the driver failed to negotiate the curve, lost control and rolled, the trooper’s report stated.
The motorcyclist, a 32-year-old man from Kansas City, Kan., was injured and taken to a hospital in Overland Park, Kan., according to the report.
He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, the trooper’s report stated.
