A 59-year-old Junction City, Kan., man was injured after a crash at 1:54 p.m. Jan. 22 on I-70 east of K-7 in Wyandotte County.
According to the Kansas Turnpike Authority report, the man was driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee westbound on I-70 that went into the outside ditch, then crossed back across two lanes of traffic. The Grand Cherokee then hit the center barrier, rolled back across both lanes of traffic and hit the guardrail, the trooper’s report stated.
The driver was injured and taken to the hospital, according to the report. The report stated he was not wearing a seat belt.
