Temperatures to rise into 40s and 50s

Temperatures will rise into the 40s and 50s through Thursday, followed by a return to cold weather for the weekend into early next week, according to the National Weather Service

A few light rain showers are possible early Friday, the weather service said. Wintry precipitation is no longer expected.

Today, it will be sunny with a high of 47, and west southwest wind of 8 to 10 mph, according to the weather service.

Tonight’s forecast is mostly clear with a low around 34 and a southwest wind of 8 to 10 mph, the weather service said.

Thursday’s forecast is sunny with a high near 54, according to the weather service. The south southwest wind will be 10 to 14, gusting to 18 mph.

Friday, it will be cloudy, then mostly sunny, with a high near 37, the weather service said. Friday night, the low will be around 21.

Saturday, it will be mostly sunny with a high near 30, according to the weather service. Saturday night, the low will be around 12.

Sunday’s forecast is mostly sunny with a high near 21, the weather service said. Sunday night, it will be mostly cloudy with a low around 10.

On Monday, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, it will be partly sunny with a high near 25, according to the weather service.
