Three persons were injured about 5:15 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, on I-70 eastbound near the Turner Diagonal exit in Kansas City, Kan.
According to a trooper’s report from the Kansas Turnpike Authority, a Mercury Mountaineer swerved right to avoid a semi, drove onto the right shoulder, lost control, crossed all three lanes, entered the median and struck the wall, then rolled.
The driver, a 31-year-old Kansas City, Kan., man, was injured and taken to a hospital, according to the trooper’s report.
Two passengers, a 30-year-old Kansas City, Kan., woman, and a 4-year-old Kansas City, Kan., boy, also were injured and taken to a hospital, the trooper’s report stated.
