A man who was shot at 6:06 p.m. Dec. 15 in the 2100 block of Quindaro Boulevard in Kansas City, Kan., has died, police said.
The man was identified as Christopher Jones, 21, of Kansas City, Kan., police said.
When police arrived at the scene of the shooting, they found Jones on the sidewalk, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the back of the head, a police spokesman said.
Jones was taken to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries, according to the spokesman. Police are investigating the case as a homicide.
