The Board of Public Utilities will meet at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, at the BPU offices, 540 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, Kan.
At the work session at 5 p.m., there will be a board update, a general manager update, and a report on wind energy.
At the regular meeting at 6 p.m., there will be a time for visitors, a United Way review, a fee-waiving resolution, the 2016 budget approval, the October 2015 financial report, board comments and general manager comments.
The meetings are open to the public.
