Bishop Ward High School is presenting the fall play production of “I Hate Shakespeare!” by Steph DeFerie. The fall play is sponsored by drama teacher Kelly Lipovitz and made its premiere Thursday, Nov. 12, at 7 p.m.

The audience will get a rip-roaring rundown of Shakespeare’s classics. With zombies, talking cows, and an appearance by someone playing Jerry Springer, “I Hate Shakespeare!” is a hilarious and fast-paced introduction to Shakespeare with a modern twist.

Besides the Thursday show, Bishop Ward will present the production at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, and Saturday, Nov. 14, in the Willard L. Phillips Memorial Auditorium at the high school, 708 N. 18th.

Tickets are $7 for adults, and $5 for students. Children under 6, clergy, and seniors 65 and older are admitted for free.
