Sunny, cool weather in Friday’s forecast

Friday’s forecast is cool and sunny, according to the National Weather Service.

The high will be near 58 today, with a west wind of 3 to 7 mph, the weather service said.

Tonight, the low will be around 39, with a south wind of 6 to 8 mph, according to the weather service.

An elevated fire danger is expected for Saturday with dry conditions and south-southwesterly winds between 7 to 16 mph with gusts to 23 mph, the weather service said.

The high Saturday will be near 65, with sunny skies, according to the weather service.

Saturday night, expect mostly clear skies with a low of 46, the weather service said. A south wind will be 9 to 13 mph.

On Sunday, the high will be near 60, with increasing clouds, according to the weather service. A south wind will be 9 to 15 mph with gusts as high as 22 mph.

Sunday night, showers are likely after 7 p.m., the weather service said. It will be cloudy with a low around 47. The chance of rain is 70 percent.

Thunderstorms will be possible Monday and Tuesday, however severe weather is not expected at this time, the weather service said.
