A suspicious package has been found Friday morning on the southeast corner of the Wyandotte County Courthouse at 7th and Barnett, Kansas City, Kan., according to Lt. Kelli Bailiff, a sheriff’s spokeswoman.
The bomb squad will respond, the spokeswoman said, and normal protocol will be followed.
The item is a black bag, according to Lt. Bailiff.
People are waiting outside the courthouse until the item is dealt with by the bomb squad.
