The Kansas City, Kan., Police Department is requesting the public’s help with a suspicious death investigation.
John Grady Simpson, 34, was found dead in a creek in the area of 5800 Kansas Ave. on Wednesday, Aug. 19, police said.
He was last seen around 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, leaving his Olathe home, police said.
He was driving a 2015 Ford Fusion displaying Kansas tag 258-GUR, according to police. The vehicle, which has not been found, is a dark gray – green metallic color and has noticeable damage on the rear driver’s door, according to police.
Police said Simpson was lsat seen possibly in the area of 55th and Swartz Road in Kansas City, Kan., on the afternoon of Aug. 8.
Police are asking anyone with information about Simpson to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
