Kansas City, Kan., police today found a deceased male on the ground between two houses in the 1900 block of North 28th Street.
Police were called about 2:25 p.m. Sept. 28 to check the welfare of an individual at the location, a spokesman said.
The victim was possibly in his 20s or 30s, the spokesman said.
It was unknown at this time what type of weapon was used, police said. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending positive identification and family notification, according to police.
The incident is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kan., Police Department’s Major Case Unit, which is encouraging anyone with information to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
