A suspicious bag found near the Wyandotte County Courthouse this morning delayed some employees from going into their offices.
Wyandotte County Sheriff spokeswoman Kelli Bailiff stated that a white plastic bag was found on the hood of a Unified Government vehicle in the driveway right underneath the district attorney’s office this morning.
The courthouse is open at one area, while other parts are closed off at this time. The streets are blocked off around the surrounding areas, Bailiff noted.
A robot is expected to be deployed to check the suspicious bag, she added.
