The Downtown KCK Labor Day Festival today started with a parade and continued with a free festival until 6 p.m. near 18th and Minnesota Avenue. The festival celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month. It included a mini-carnival, live bands, activities for children, face painting, clowns and food. It was sponsored by Bonito Michoacan.
