An arrest has been made in the 3rd and Oakland fatality, according to police.
The accident happened on Sept. 1. The victim in the accident was identified as Darrin M. Smith, 34, of Kansas City, Kan. Police said at the time that the man had been struck by a vehicle, which did not stay at the scene of the accident.
Police had been searching for a light blue Crown Victoria in connection with the accident.
