Kansas City, Kan., police on Monday night said that a teen driving a mini-bike was taken to a hospital in critical condition after an accident.
The accident happened about 7:50 p.m. Aug. 17 at South 37th and Woodend, police said.
A Chevy truck was northbound on South 37th Street and was struck by the mini-bike attempting to go westbound on Woodend, a police spokesman said.
The accident is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kan., Police Department’s Traffic Support Unit-Critical Collision Response Team.
