With high temperatures reaching the 90s today, the combination of heat and humidity has resulted in a heat index of 100 degrees.

The forecast for tonight calls for a 20 percent chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms. Winds from the southeast will be from 10 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph, the weather service said.
