After rain moved through Wyandotte County this morning, look for cooler temperatures today, with a high of 81.

There remains a chance of showers and thunderstorms today, but most of the severe threat has moved south, toward the Joplin, Mo., region, according to the National Weather Service.

Tonight, there is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 10 p.m., the weather service said.

Thursday’s weather will be mostly sunny, with a high near 86, the weather service said.

Thursday night, there is a 30 percent chance of showers and storms, with a low around 72, the weather service said.

Friday, expect a sunny day with a high of 90, according to the weather service.

On Saturday, there will be a 30 percent chance of showers and storms, with a high of 88, the weather service said. Saturday night, expect a 30 percent chance of rain with a low of 74.

Sunday, it will be partly sunny with a high of 91, according to the weather service. Storms and showers are back in the forecast Sunday night, when there will be a low of 73.
