A westbound GMC Yukon overturned when it went off I-70 east of K-7 on Tuesday.
The wreck happened about 2:46 p.m. June 23, according to the Kansas Turnpike Authority trooper’s report.
The Yukon was westbound on I-70 when the driver lost control, the vehicle struck the median barrier, the vehicle crossed three lanes of traffic, struck a delineator post, slid down the hill, struck a fence and culvert and overturned, the report stated.
The driver of the Yukon, a 47-year-old woman from Leavenworth, was injured and taken to a hospital, according to the report.
It was raining Tuesday afternoon.
