An injury-accident was reported when a Harley-Davidson motorcycle struck a van on I-435 at 5:19 p.m. Saturday just south of the Kansas-Missouri line in Wyandotte County.
According to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report, the motorcycle was traveling southbound on I-435 when it struck a van that was stuck in the lane of traffic from a separate collision.
The driver of the motorcycle, a 46-year-old man from Lawrence, Kan., was injured and taken to a hospital in Kansas City, Kan.
There were no other injuries in the accident.
