Police respond to shooting on Southwest Boulevard

Police have responded to a shooting near I-35 and Southwest Boulevard around 4:35 p.m. Saturday.

The shooting appears to be non-life-threatening, according to police.

When they arrived, officers found a vehicle in the intersection with a man inside, who had been shot, a police spokesman said. The victim is in his 30s and sustained injuries that are non-life-threatening, police said. He was taken to a hospital.
