Seattle Sounders to visit Sporting KC on Saturday in KCK

Sporting Kansas City will look to extend the club’s six-game unbeaten run when it plays host to league leaders Seattle Sounders FC at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday at Sporting Park in Kansas City, Kan. A limited number of tickets, including standing room only tickets released, might be available via Ticketmaster.com and the first 10,000 fans through the gates will receive a commemorative Matt Besler poster. Saturday’s match will be televised locally on KMCI-TV 38 the Spot and across the Midwest on SKCTV with three hours of coverage beginning at 7 p.m. In addition, Sports Radio 810 WHB (English) and La Grande 1340 AM (Spanish) will provide live broadcasts for their listening audiences in Kansas City.

Cowbell giveaway tonight at T-Bones game

Saturday is Agriculture Night, with a free T-Bones cowbell giveaway at the T-Bones vs. Amarillo game in Village West in Kansas City, Kan. The first 1,500 fans at CommunityAmerica Ballpark will receive a free T-Bones cowbell. Magic show planned at library

Mr. Gene’s Magic Show is planned from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, June 6, at the West Wyandotte Library auditorium, 1727 N. 82nd, Kansas City, Kan. Balloon animals are part of the show. Children under 9 must be accompanied by an adult. The show is free and open to the public. Space is limited, and admission is first-come, first-served. Swap meet planned today at Kansas Speedway

A swap meet continues today at the Kansas Speedway, I-70 and I-435 in Kansas City, Kan. The event is open to the public. Admission is $5. Hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 6. Items such as automotive parts, motorcycles, tools, antiques and other items are expected to be available at the swap meet. Swap and shop planned in church parking lot

A swap and shop is planned from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 6 in the parking lot at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1086 N. 94th St., Kansas City, Kan. There will be a charge to have a space there. The event is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus.

Strawberry Hill Museum open on weekends

The Strawberry Hill Museum, 720 N. 4th St., Kansas City, Kan., is open on the weekends. The museum is open from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The admission charge is $7 for adults, $3 for children 6 to 12, and free for children under 6. Special tours are available during the week for groups of 20 or more by calling 913-721-0081. Wyandotte County Museum open
